- All vessels are licensed and inspected by the Maritime and Coastguard Agency.
- Our vessels are licensed to operate
- from nominated ports.
- Skippers and Crew hold professional qualifications and undergo extensive training by the company.
- Vessels undergo a safety check each day prior to sailing.
- The office receives daily Met Office Forecasts.
- We carry safety equipment well in excess of the legal requirements including a life raft.
- The vessel and crew are fully insured. Dover Sea Safari hold full public liability insurance up to £3,000,000.
- The company has a written safety policy which includes detailed procedures for overdue boats etc.
- Throughout operations there is a Duty Safety Officer ashore logging the numbers of passengers on board our craft when at sea.
- Skippers and crews undertake regular safety drills.
- We will refuse boarding if you are intoxicated in any way.
- It is compulsory for all passengers to wear the life jackets provided.
