James Salmon, Stuart Bishop, Simon Moore or Craig Burn are likely to be the Skipper of your Sea Safari.
James has been involved with boating for most of his life having started out on his Fathers boat fishing. Holding commercial powerboat qualifications and being an RYA powerboat instructor. He has massive experience in operating high performance speed boats.
James serves with the RNLI on the Walmer Lifeboat, also married with a son and over excited Labrador !
Stu has been involved in sea sports and boating all his life. Along with his commercial qualifications, Stuart is the Principal of our RYA Sea Sports school.
Simon is a Master Mariner with nearly 20 years professional experience. He has sailed as Master on cross channel ferries and currently works in port management / marine pilotage.
Simon has also served long term as a volunteer crew member with the RNLI having served both on the Dover and Walmer Lifeboats.
Andy Roberts MBE
Andy is now retired however finished his career as Sector Manager for East Kent Coastguards. Andy was responsible for cliff teams and search teams working along the coast from Herne Bay to Rye.
Andy will be visiting Buckingham Palace within the next six months for the presentation of his MBE by the Queen and will be accompanied by his wife Hilary and their son Thomas
Craig, a man of the sea and Pirate hunter!
Craig is full-time Helmsman for the RNLI on the Thames Lifeboats while also serving on Dover Lifeboat.
Craig works part time as a skipper for Dover Sea Safari, which he rates as a great way to enjoy the day. He states "I'm also doing this to keep a look out for Pirates which is why you will always hear the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' soundtrack playing whilst on my Sea Safaris!"
Danie Juden
Danie is the one with all the local facts and figures on your trip. What Danie doesn't know locally isn't worth knowing about!!
Danie is our main RYA qualified crew member, she will look after you while aboard the Dover Explorer and make sure your trip is a memorable one.
